AlphaRatings come from public on-chain and venue data and may be incomplete. We see on-chain only — exposure on centralised exchanges is invisible to us.Methodology

One person answers, by email. That is worth stating plainly rather than dressing up: it means you will get a direct answer from somebody who knows how the number was computed, and it means there is no overnight cover.

A number looks wrong

The most useful message we get. Send the page, the figure, and what you expected — a link to the venue or the transaction if you have one. Corrections come first, and if we published something wrong we say so on the page rather than quietly changing it.

Report itthe same working day

Something is down or slow

Include the endpoint, roughly when, and the status code if you have one. Measured availability and latency are on the status page, including the months that miss the target.

Billing, plans, an invoice

There is no card on file and no automatic renewal, so nothing can be charged by surprise and nothing needs cancelling. Your balance, quota and deposit address are in your account and at GET /api/v1/account.

What to expect back

  • A wrong figure: the same working day. Even if the answer is only “you are right, it is wrong, here is why it will take a week”.
  • An outage: as soon as it is seen, which is not a promise about the hour — see the status page for what one machine in one place can honestly commit to.
  • Anything else: two working days.
  • No phone number and no chat widget. Both would imply cover that does not exist. Email reaches the person who would have answered either.

Before you write about a figure

Two things account for most surprises, and both are documented rather than accidental. Every return here is what a holder earned, with deposits removed — so it will not match a vault’s account-value growth, which moves when somebody deposits. And anything held on a centralised exchange is invisible to us, so concentration and crowding are floors rather than ceilings. The methodology page defines every figure on the site.

Security
A vulnerability goes to the same address, and security.txt is the canonical version of that. We would rather hear about a problem from you than from somebody else, and we will not argue about whether you were allowed to look.
